Southall Community Alliance

Southall Community Alliance (SCA) has been working over the past year to deliver the ‘Touchdown Southall’ project in Southall.

Southall is an enormously diverse area with high levels of poverty and with a low awareness of NFL Flag as a sporting activity. We have worked with local schools and community organisations to deliver taster and longer term Flag activities that teach children basic rules, terminology, concepts and respect. We have received really positive feedback from the children and it has been great to see them working together and enjoying the opportunity we provided.

SCA is delighted to be a partner with the NFL Foundation UK. We have had great support from the NFL team and colleagues and look forward to promoting the sport even more widely in our area.

ML Community Enterprise works with young people in vulnerable and at risk areas of the Loughborough, Moorlands, and Angell Town Estates.
